Associate / Assistant Manager, Digital Business Partner

RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the Digital Innovation team, the Digital Business Partner supports NVPC's automation and AI adoption journey, helping the organisation work smarter through better tools and processes. The role focuses primarily on automation and AI product management, with secondary involvement in product workstreams across NVPC's broader digital portfolio. This is a hands-on, learning-oriented role suited to someone curious about emerging technologies and motivated to grow into an internal evangelist for automation and AI over time.

Automation Product Management

• Assist in identifying, scoping, and documenting automation opportunities across NVPC's business processes.
• Support the design and delivery of automated workflows using tools such as Power Automate.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solutions, and support rollout.

Automation & AI Adoption

• Support NVPC's AI adoption initiatives across automation and AI, including Microsoft 365 Copilot deployment and the AI Champions programme.
• Assist in tracking adoption of automation and AI tools, gathering user feedback, and producing simple adoption reports.
• Contribute to internal awareness efforts through demos, knowledge-sharing sessions, process walkthroughs, and use case documentation across both automation and AI.
• Develop personal proficiency across automation and AI tools to grow into an internal evangelist for both.

Secondary Product Support

• Assist with product management activities for NVPC's broader digital platforms (e.g. Unified Web Portal, Salesforce) as required.
• Support requirements documentation, user story drafting, and UAT activities under guidance.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate, accessible documentation for automation flows, AI use cases, and product requirements.
• Prepare simple status updates and reports to support team visibility and stakeholder communication.

Continuous Learning & Improvement

• Actively build technical and analytical skills relevant to automation, AI, and business analysis.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve team processes, tools, and ways of working.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• Internship or project experience in business analysis, process improvement, automation, or a related area.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an analytical mindset and the ability to break down problems, document findings clearly, and work effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Genuine curiosity about automation, AI, and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn, experiment, and grow into a champion for automation and AI adoption.
• Exposure to automation, AI, or low-code/no-code tools through academic, internship, project, or personal experience would be an advantage.
