We are seeking a highly experienced Automation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead our industrial automation, rail, and digital manufacturing initiatives in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, you will be the technical anchor for our engineering teams, driving operational excellence and digital transformation through projects involving IIoT, MES, PLC, HMI, SCADA, OPC UA/DA, and DCS technologies.

What You Will Be Doing

• Technical Leadership: Act as the primary Technical Lead for the Automation Engineering team, overseeing project execution and technical deliveries.
• Architecture & Standards: Define robust technical architectures and automation standards across various rail, digital manufacturing, and IoT projects.
• Design & Strategy Review: Critically review engineering designs, control strategies, and software development activities to ensure high quality, safety, and compliance.
• Complex Troubleshooting: Lead the troubleshooting and root-cause resolution of highly complex automation, control system, and production issues.
• Mentorship: Mentor, coach, and elevate the technical skills of automation engineers and developers within the team.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, control systems, rail, or digital manufacturing.
• Technical Expertise: Deep subject matter expertise in IIoT, MES, PLC, HMI, SCADA, OPC UA/DA, and DCS.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading automation engineering teams and successfully delivering large-scale rail or manufacturing projects.
• Language Skills: Full professional fluency in English (both verbal and written) to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders. (Indeed Policy: Focus on fluency rather than asking for native status).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Automation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
