Project & Stakeholder Management

• Client Bridging: Act as the primary point of contact for Japanese clients and stakeholders to align expectations and manage relationships.
• Requirement Engineering: Lead requirement definition, estimation, and issue management processes.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Organize client requests, facilitate consensus, and manage scope/change requests effectively.
• Delivery Oversight: Monitor project progress, quality, and resource allocation across multiple projects to ensure on-time delivery.

Team Leadership & Engineering

• Technical Guidance: Leverage your software engineering background to make sound technical decisions and architectural judgments.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate daily with engineers and designers to resolve blockers and optimize schedules.
• People Management: Manage, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster professional growth.
• Organization Building: Participate in recruitment activities and contribute to the improvement of evaluation systems and team structures.

Must-Have (Required Qualifications):

• Language: Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher), capable of conducting business negotiations independently without an interpreter.
• Bridge Experience: Proven experience as a Bridge PM or Development Manager targeting Japanese companies/clients.
• Project Management: 3+ years of PM experience in Web, Mobile Apps, Contract Development, or In-house Product Development.
• Core PM Skills: Hands-on experience in requirement definition, estimation, scope management, and change control.
• Technical Background: 5+ years of hands-on software development experience (Strongly preferred: Engineer-turned-PM capable of making technical decisions).
• Management Experience: 3+ years of team/organizational management experience, including member evaluation, mentoring, and hiring.
