Role Description
The General Accountant is a full-time on-site role based at Lugano Resort & Spa Cam Ranh in Thành Phố Cam Ranh. This role is responsible for daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing journal entries. The General Accountant will assist with accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank and cash accounts, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role includes preparing financial reports, monitoring budget variances, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards, and supporting audits. The General Accountant will collaborate with other departments to provide accurate financial information, improve processes, and safeguard the resort’s financial integrity.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.

Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and productivity tools, such as ERP or hotel management systems, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting applications.

Candidates should possess knowledge of applicable accounting standards, basic tax regulations, and internal control practices relevant to hospitality operations.

Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.

Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines, maintain accurate records, and support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in hospitality or resort accounting is an advantage.
