CMCGlobal is looking for a talented Automation Test Engineer with at least > 2 years of experience in software testing and test automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong English communication skills and hands-on experience in automation testing frameworks and tools. Experience with Katalon/ Playwright, Cypress , or similar automation technologies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and/or mobile applications.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and create comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Project Managers to ensure product quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• Minimum > 2 years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on experience in Test Automation for web applications.
• Experience with one or more automation tools/frameworks: 
• Katalon Studio
• Playwright
• Cypress
• Selenium or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
• Ability to write and maintain reusable, scalable automated test scripts.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Language Requirement

• Good English communication skills are Plus point (both written and spoken) for working with international clients and teams
