IT Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Manager

Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Manager to manage and support the Company's cloud infrastructure, servers, databases, network systems, CCTV streaming infrastructure, and related technology environments. 

The successful candidate will ensure system stability, security, scalability, and operational excellence across all infrastructure platforms. 

The successful candidate will also have opportunities to contribute to future software products and technology initiatives as Vision Entertainment Group continues to invest in advanced technologies and expand its solutions in response to evolving market and customer needs. This broader exposure will offer greater technical ownership, opportunities to work across multiple products, and long-term professional growth within the Group.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure.
• Manage AWS, Alibaba Cloud (Alicloud), Azure, or equivalent platforms.
• Configure servers, storage, networking, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and backup systems.

Cloud Database Oversight

• Oversee the Database Administrator’s management and maintenance of cloud-based database environments, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or equivalent technologies.
• Review database performance, availability, capacity, and optimization requirements with the Database Administrator and Backend Developers.
• Ensure appropriate backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and recovery-testing procedures are implemented and maintained.
• Oversee database security, access controls, data integrity, and audit requirements.

Infrastructure Operations

• Manage Linux and Windows server environments.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, uptime, and resource utilization.
• Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Network & Security Management

• Manage network infrastructure, security controls, and access management.
• Monitor network performance and cybersecurity risks.
• Support infrastructure compliance and risk mitigation.

CCTV Infrastructure

• Support media servers, streaming infrastructure, and machine connectivity.
• Ensure stable communication between gaming machines, cameras, and cloud systems.
• Troubleshoot streaming and infrastructure-related issues.

Your skills and experience

Technical Requirements

• Strong experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure management.
• Strong Linux, Windows Server, networking, and security knowledge.
• Working knowledge of cloud-managed database environments, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or equivalent technologies.
• Practical understanding of database availability, performance monitoring, capacity planning, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, security, and access control.
• Ability to provide technical oversight to the Database Administrator and coordinate database-related matters with Backend Developers.
• Experience with virtualization, monitoring tools, backup systems, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with Cloudflare, CDN, VPN, and media streaming infrastructure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 - 8 years of infrastructure or cloud systems experience.
