Help build the smart airport of the future
At Changi Airport, we are constantly exploring new ways to make airport operations smarter, safer, and more efficient. As part of the Airport Ops Tech & IT team, you will help develop and deploy sensor-driven solutions that give our operations teams better visibility, insights, and control across the airport.
Whether it is monitoring assets, improving operational efficiency or piloting the next generation of smart technologies, you will have the opportunity to turn ideas into solutions that make a real impact.
What You Will Do
Develop and pilot smart sensing and IOT solutions for airport operations and facilities management
Explore and evaluate new technologies, sensors, and connectivity solutions
Work with airport stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners to deliver projects from concept to deployment
Analyse sensor and operational data to identify opportunities for automation and improvement
Support the operation, maintenance and enhancement of IoT systems and devices
Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvements to deployed solutions
Explore emerging technologies like AI, digital twin, and smart infrastructure applications
Who We Are Looking For
Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
Curious about technology, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Hands-on, proactive, keen to learn
Preferably with 2-5 years of relevant experience and eagerness to grow in this field
Technical Skills
Experience with IoT, sensors, smart infrastructure solutions, and cybersecurity
Exposure to Python, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and other prototyping tools
Knowledge or certifications in Azure, AWS and cloud-based platforms
Familiarity with connectivity technologies such as LoRaWAN, BLE, Wi-Fi, and 4G/5G
Foundation in ILIT, AI, automation, data analytics and digital twin technologies
