Position: Consulting Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $95/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Flexible hours

Role Responsibilities

• Produce and review consulting deliverables such as M&A and investment cases, including EBITDA normalization, valuation, and acquisition-debt structuring.
• Develop post-merger integration plans with focus on synergy phasing, one-time costs, and integration narratives.
• Synthesize complex inputs from data rooms, due-diligence reports, and stakeholder guidance into structured, well-reasoned cases.
• Deliver client-ready work products, including memos, models, and recommendations with explicit assumptions and risks.
• Work independently to manage engagements from diagnosis to decision-grade outputs.
  
  

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4+ years at a top consulting or advisory firm or equivalent in-house corporate-development experience.
• Elite structured problem-solving skills with ability to make defensible recommendations under ambiguity.
• Strong financial and business acumen with advanced modeling skills (LBO, 3-statement, pro forma).
• Comfort in owning an engagement independently.
