Technical Director

Access Corp Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based Creative Design & Build company specialising in branding, commercial interiors, exhibitions, signage, large-format printing, fabrication, and installation. With our in-house design, production, and installation teams, we deliver turnkey solutions from concept to completion for government agencies, corporate clients, retail brands, commercial developments, and experiential spaces.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Technical Director to lead our technical team and elevate the quality, efficiency, and innovation of every project we deliver.

Your Role

As the Technical Director, you will be the bridge between design and execution. You will ensure every concept is technically feasible, commercially practical, and delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Working closely with the Managing Director, Business Development Manager, Project Managers, Designers, Production Team, and Site Supervisors, you will lead technical planning and provide solutions that turn creative ideas into outstanding built environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development of exhibition, interior, signage, branding, and experiential projects.
• Review design concepts and provide practical, buildable, and cost-effective technical solutions.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, construction details, and installation methodologies.
• Conduct site measurements, technical inspections, and pre-construction planning.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulations, venue requirements, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Oversee fabrication methods, material selection, and installation sequencing.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
• Support Business Development by providing technical input for tenders, proposals, presentations, and value engineering.
• Mentor and develop designers and technical staff, raising the overall technical capability of the company.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality control, production efficiency, innovation, and technical standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in exhibition, interior fit-out, commercial construction, signage, or design & build.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, metalwork, acrylic fabrication, printing, signage systems, lighting, and construction detailing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Experience with Revit, SolidWorks, Rhino, Inventor, or BIM software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, project coordination, material specifications, and installation techniques.
• Proven ability to solve technical challenges and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Pay: $6,653.36 - $18,387.63 per month
