Video Content Editor

Funky Food is an Australian subscription box business rescuing imperfect and surplus produce, delivering it fresh to homes across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Canberra. Our content is fresh, fun, and real — just like the produce we deliver.

We're looking for a Video Content Editor to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping short-form video for social and paid ads. This is a fast-paced, output-driven role: you'll be working closely with our Marketing Director to keep a steady stream of high-quality video hitting our channels, often on tight turnarounds to support live ad campaigns.

What You'll Do

- Edit raw footage into polished short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, and Meta/Google ads

- Cut multiple versions and aspect ratios from the same footage (Reels, Stories, ad variants)

- Add captions, subtitles, motion graphics, and sound design in line with brand style

- Work from footage supplied by our in-house photographer and UGC/creator content

- Turn around ad creative quickly to support live campaigns and testing

- Keep a consistent, recognisable Funky Food look and feel across all video

- Organise and manage a library of raw and edited footage

What We're Looking For

- A strong portfolio of short-form social and ad video editing

- Skilled in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar

- Good eye for pacing, hooks, and what performs on social

- Comfortable working fast and iterating based on ad performance feedback

- Experience editing for Meta/TikTok ads specifically is a strong plus

- Food, e-commerce, or subscription brand experience a bonus

- Reliable internet and equipment for video editing work
