The User Platform team sits at the heart of Zalopay’s ecosystem, powering authentication, identity, and profile management systems that enable millions of users to securely access and use the product at scale.
This role focuses on core system logic, structured execution, and cross-functional delivery within a regulated fintech environment. As an Associate Product Owner, you will support the Product Team in driving high-impact initiatives while building strong system-level product foundations.
We operate in disciplined sprint cycles using Jira and Confluence, supported by daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, quarterly planning, and outcome tracking. Clear processes and measurable impact are central to how we work.
What You Will Do
Turn Problems into Clear Product Requirements
-
Work with the Product Owner and stakeholders to understand business, user, and system problems before jumping into solutions
-
Break down requirements into clear flows, system logic, edge cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
-
Prepare structured product documentation that Engineering, Design, QA, and other stakeholders can execute against
-
Follow initiatives through development, testing, release, and post-launch monitoring — not just requirement handoff
Use Data to Understand Problems
-
Analyze product and behavioral data to identify bottlenecks, abnormal patterns, and improvement opportunities
-
Define relevant metrics and use data to validate assumptions and evaluate product changes
-
Investigate problems by combining quantitative data, system behavior, and user feedback
-
Develop hands-on data skills; SQL proficiency is a plus, but the willingness and ability to learn is more important
Improve Core User Experiences
-
Support continuous improvements across core account and profile flows such as Login, Registration, Reset Password, Account Settings, eKYC, and NFC verification
-
Understand user pain points and balance user experience with system, business, risk, and regulatory constraints
-
Ask why a flow works the way it does and identify opportunities to simplify or improve it
-
Contribute to regulatory-driven initiatives by translating requirements from Legal, Risk, and Compliance into practical product solutions
Drive Execution Across Teams
-
Work closely with Engineering, UX, Data, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Customer Service teams
-
Proactively follow up on dependencies, surface blockers early, and help drive assigned initiatives toward completion
-
Communicate progress, risks, decisions, and unresolved questions clearly and transparently
-
Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and cross-team discussions
