Job Description:
- Own the product roadmap for regional data infrastructure initiatives — including pipeline architecture, SLA frameworks, observability tooling, and capacity management — balancing platform stability with business delivery velocity
- Define and operationalise data governance policies across regional and local teams, including role-based access controls, data usage standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Partner with data engineering teams to design and maintain centralised data marts and standardised calculation logic, eliminating cross-team data discrepancies and ensuring consistent metric definitions at scale
- Drive platform reliability and pipeline health improvements — working directly with engineering to reduce system response times, minimise downtime, and accelerate critical failure resolution
- Identify and prioritise internal tooling and automation opportunities that reduce manual intervention and accelerate data availability for downstream business stakeholders
- Translate complex infrastructure requirements and technical constraints into clear roadmap priorities, managing expectations across regional engineering leads, business stakeholders, and senior leadership simultaneously
- Proactively monitor pipeline performance, data freshness, and SLA compliance — surfacing risks early and driving resolution before downstream business impact occurs
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in any field; a masters degree is advantageous but not required
- At least 4 years of combined experience in data engineering, business intelligence, end-to-end technical product management or end-to-end technical program management
- Technically fluent in SQL and Python, with a working understanding of data infrastructure concepts including pipeline orchestration, capacity management, and observability tooling
- Proven experience implementing data governance frameworks including role-based permissions, data quality standards, and regulatory compliance enforcement
- Strong communicator capable of driving alignment between technical data engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders, from requirements through to delivery
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise competing infrastructure demands across regional teams while maintaining strict SLA compliance and platform reliability standards
- Detail-oriented and operationally rigorous, with a proactive approach to risk identification and platform health management
- Kindly note that you can only be considered for one role at a time with any of the companies within our Group. If you have applied for other jobs within the Group, you will be considered for roles in the order of your application.
