AI-Assisted QA Engineer Trainee
- Location: AvePoint AI Lab at the University of Information Technology (VNU-UIT), Ho Chi Minh City

About the Programme
AvePoint Vietnam is accepting applications for its AI-Assisted QA Engineer Tech Talent Training Programme , a three-month, full-time programme designed to prepare aspiring quality assurance professionals for careers in modern software testing.
**Please note that this is neither an internship nor a permanent full-time position. It is a subsidized, full-time trainee programme combining structured learning with practical QA experience in an Agile environment.
Participants will build a strong foundation in software quality assurance, learn to use AI tools throughout the testing lifecycle, strengthen their professional communication skills, and apply their knowledge through a real-world Agile project.
What You Will Learn
The programme is organized around four key learning pillars:
1. QA Foundations
- QA fundamentals and the software testing process
- Requirements analysis and test design
- Functional testing and defect management
- Technical foundations for quality assurance
- Functional, regression, exploratory, API, and basic SQL testing
- Test progress tracking and quality-status reporting
2. AI Skills
- AI foundations and practical AI literacy
- Effective use of tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot-style assistants
- AI-assisted generation of test cases and edge-case scenarios
- Creation of test data, defect reports, and test summaries using AI
- AI-driven test lifecycle practices
- Introduction to AI-assisted test automation
- Faster creation and maintenance of regression tests
3. Communication and Professionalism
- Effective communication in global teams
- Technical writing and QA documentation
- Defect reporting and stakeholder communication
- Presentation and collaboration skills

Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are college or university graduates.
- Can commit to the full three-month programme on a full-time basis.
- Have good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Demonstrate logical thinking, strong attention to detail, and a quality-first mindset.
- Have a basic understanding of software QA fundamentals, including SDLC, STLC, and testing principles.
- Are familiar with a bug-tracking or test-management tool such as Jira, TestRail, or a similar platform.
- Are comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or comparable solutions.
- Are eager to learn AI-assisted testing tools and adapt quickly to new technologies.
- Are proactive, collaborative, and committed to professional development.
