Automation QC Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a QC Engineer with strong expertise in automation and AI-driven testing to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building robust test frameworks, embedding quality practices into our CI/CD pipelines, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging modern tools – including AI agents – to scale and modernize quality assurance practices.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, leveraging AI agents to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and coverage analysis.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality checks throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the engineering team to define quality strategies, testing standards, and acceptance criteria across products and platforms.
• Identify defects, risks, and quality gaps early, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and prevent regressions.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and coverage to keep pace with evolving product and business needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in Quality Control, QA, or a related software testing role.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools across multiple platforms:
• Selenium or Playwright for web applications
• Appium for mobile applications
• Postman for API testing
• Solid programming skills in Python or JavaScript , with the ability to write and maintain automated test scripts.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar) and experience integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail in identifying and documenting defects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders.

Nice to have 

• Experience applying AI/ML techniques in testing, such as AI-assisted test generation, self-healing test scripts, or intelligent test prioritization.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience testing cloud-based or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with API testing frameworks and practices beyond Postman (e.g., REST Assured, contract testing).
