We are looking for an Intimate Apparel QA Specialist to support product quality throughout the development and production process, working closely with Technical Design (TD), Product Development Team (Fashion Designer, Techpack Designer, Pattern Maker), and QC teams.


The role will focus on translating product specifications and technical requirements into clear quality standards, identifying potential quality risks during development, supporting product testing and validation, and ensuring factories consistently execute approved standards in production.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Product Quality & Technical Standards

  • Work closely with TD and Product Development to understand product specifications, construction, fit, materials, and performance requirements.
  • Translate technical requirements into clear and measurable quality standards, inspection points, and acceptance criteria.
  • Review product construction and identify potential quality risks during development.
  • Establish critical-to-quality (CTQ) points for bras and intimate apparel, including cup construction, wire, elastic, straps, seams, closures, bonding, and key measurements.
  • Support development and maintenance of product quality standards, workmanship standards, and defect classification.


2. Development & Sample Quality

  • Partner with TD and Product Development during prototype, fit, and development stages to identify and resolve quality issues early.
  • Review samples against approved specifications, construction standards, measurements, and workmanship requirements.
  • Support fit and technical reviews by identifying quality-related risks and providing objective technical input.
  • Track recurring development issues and work with TD, PD, and factories to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Support product validation, testing, and approval prior to production.


3. Testing & Product Validation

  • Coordinate and follow up on product and material testing according to established standards.
  • Support testing of fabric, elastic, foam, lace, trims, and finished products for performance and durability.
  • Review test results and highlight risks or failures to TD, PD, and QA leadership.
  • Ensure required corrective actions are completed before product approval.
  • Maintain testing records and product quality documentation.


4. Factory & QC Collaboration

  • Work closely with factory QC teams to ensure approved product standards are clearly understood and consistently applied.
  • Communicate critical quality requirements and inspection points to factory QC teams.
  • Support QC teams in identifying, classifying, and resolving product defects.
  • Participate in factory quality reviews, pilot production, and pre-production meetings when required.
  • Follow up on quality issues during production and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Help strengthen factory QC capability through technical guidance, training, and feedback.


5. Quality Data & Continuous Improvement

  • Track key product quality issues, defects, test results, and recurring problems.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes.
  • Work with TD, PD, QC, and factories to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product construction, specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to building a consistent knowledge base of intimate apparel quality issues and best practices.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • 4-5 years of experience in QA, Quality Engineering, Technical, or Product Development within apparel.
  • Strong experience with intimate apparel, especially bras , is highly preferred.
  • Good understanding of bra construction, materials, sewing techniques, measurements, and workmanship.
  • Experience working with factories and QC teams.
  • Able to read and understand tech packs, BOMs, measurement specifications, construction details, and product standards.
  • Strong understanding of apparel quality inspection and testing.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced product development environment.
