Senior Quality Control Engineer

Job overview

Responsible for ensuring the overall quality of multi-domain AI projects (e.g., AI Explorer, GSM,

Vinhomes, Enterprise Search) and AI products (e.g., Agent Platform, Knowledge AI) through the

design, execution, and reporting of functional, performance, and user experience testing activities.

The role also collaborates closely with Development, AI/ML, UX/UI, and Operations teams to deliver high-quality AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Design, Data Preparation & Execution

• Design, develop, and maintain test data and test cases for product features and project requirements.

• Execute test cases and validate functionality across various product and project modules.

2. Cross-Platform Testing

• Perform testing across multiple platforms, browsers, and languages for multi-domain AI projects.

• Ensure consistent functionality, performance, and user experience across different environments.

3. LLM & AI Chatbot Quality Evaluation

• Evaluate the accuracy of Large Language Models (LLMs), including intent recognition, context management, and multi-turn conversation handling.

• Identify and document logical errors, unnatural responses, hallucinations, and potentially harmful or misleading outputs.

• Analyze, debug, and classify root causes of issues using system logs, outputs, and troubleshooting expertise.

4. Test Automation

• Develop or recommend automation frameworks and tools for API, UI, and UX testing.

• Interact with backend systems to verify logs, processing flows, and JSON output data.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of automated testing processes to improve efficiency and coverage.

5. Defect Management & Quality Reporting

• Record and track defects using tools such as Jira, Excel, TestRail, or similar platforms.

• Monitor defect resolution progress and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure timely fixes.

• Prepare periodic quality reports and analyze defect trends to identify improvement opportunities.

6. Test Planning & Strategy

• Participate in requirements analysis activities.

• Contribute to the development of test plans, test strategies, and quality assurance approaches for projects and products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing AI products integrated with web applications, SDKs, and backend systems.

• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Orchestrators, Knowledge Bases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Familiarity with test automation and testing tools such as Appium, Selenium, Postman, TestRail, and similar platforms.

• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Appium, etc.) and

API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, JMeter, etc.).

• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development processes.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

• System-thinking mindset with a strong user-centric approach.

• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in both English and Vietnamese.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and able to learn and absorb new information quickly.
