About Company
Kwilo is an AI platform for education, and it works on two levels.
For colleges and universities, faculty can turn their own curriculum into lesson plans, question banks and assignments. AI does the first round of grading, a teacher reviews it. And underneath all of that sits a modern campus ERP with AI built into it — so the everyday running of an institution gets simpler, not just digitized.
For individual students, it's an AI tutor that works from their own material. Upload your syllabus or notes or past papers, and it answers from those, with citations. Free to start, paid plan for more.
So one product, but two completely different ways of selling it. Institutions buy slowly, through committees. Students sign up in two minutes. We need someone who can handle both, and honestly, someone who finds that fun rather than exhausting.
Who we're hoping to find:
Someone who has sold edtech or SaaS before and knows what a 6-month sales cycle with a college feels like. Someone who can sit across from a principal or a dean, demo the product, and answer hard questions about AI without hand-waving. It helps a lot if you already know your way around ERPs and learning platforms, because that's the world our institutional buyers live in.
One practical thing: this involves real travel. Campus visits, demos in person, being in the room. If you only want to sell over Zoom, this isn't the right fit.
On our side: salary plus meaningful equity. This is a genuine co-founder seat, with a say in product and everything else, not just a sales title. The product is built and running with live pilots. What's missing is the person who takes it to market.
If that's you, or you know someone we should talk to, comment or send us a DM.
