JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re Jetplane55 , and we’re building Wingman

We’re building Wingman — a human performance intelligence platform designed to help athletes, teams and organisations better understand performance.

Starting with motorsport, Wingman transforms fragmented performance and competition data into meaningful insights, benchmarks and stories. We want to help drivers understand where they stand, identify opportunities to improve and showcase their performance to teams, sponsors and the wider racing community.

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Executive who wants to help shape how Wingman is introduced to the world.

This is not a role where you simply inherit an existing marketing playbook. You will help build our marketing capability, define our go-to-market strategy and establish how the Wingman brand grows from the ground up.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute Wingman’s go-to-market strategy, including audience positioning, channel planning, campaign priorities and launch initiatives.
  • Drive Wingman’s broader marketing strategy and growth initiatives across insights, brand, creative, media and social.
  • Help establish our growth marketing capabilities, processes and measurement frameworks.
  • Shape our communication strategy and optimise channels to engage drivers, teams, partners and the broader motorsport community.
  • Identify target audiences, market opportunities and partnerships that can accelerate product adoption and brand growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, creative agencies and media vendors.
  • Lead integrated campaigns from initial strategy and briefing through execution, optimisation and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, data and business teams to define and deliver our marketing and GTM strategy.
  • Work with creative agencies and vendors to develop a distinctive brand and bring Wingman’s story to life.
  • Turn performance data, audience insights and market trends into clear strategies and compelling campaigns.
  • Take ownership of marketing projects, proactively identify opportunities and drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision.
  • Experiment with bold ideas, challenge conventional marketing approaches and have fun while building something new.

What we’re looking for

Minimum qualifications

  • At least two years of marketing experience, preferably within a technology company, start-up or digital product environment.
  • Experience contributing to marketing or go-to-market strategy, campaign development and media management.
  • A data- and insights-driven mindset, with the ability to translate information into strategy and execution.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • The ability to work from a brief and execute to a consistently high standard.
  • Strong written communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, solves problems independently and follows through on ideas.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for both the quality of the work and the outcomes it delivers.
  • The confidence to make recommendations, challenge assumptions and move work forward without waiting for constant direction.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting product launches, market-entry strategies or go-to-market initiatives.
  • An appetite to learn and innovate across the full marketing lifecycle, from strategy and creative development to paid advertising, execution and performance tracking.
  • An interest in brand building, business development and commercial partnerships.
  • Experience working with external agencies, vendors or creative partners.
  • A genuine interest in sports, technology, data or human performance.
  • Someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving start-up environment, brings positive energy and believes ambitious work should also be fun.

Why Wingman?

We’re building something different at the intersection of sports, data, technology and culture .

You’ll have the opportunity to help define a new category, shape a brand from an early stage and play an important role in bringing the product to market.

We’re a small, ambitious team, so this role is suited to someone who enjoys moving quickly, experimenting and turning ideas into action. You should be comfortable operating with autonomy, creating structure where it does not yet exist and taking responsibility for driving your work from strategy through execution.

We take the work seriously, but not ourselves. We want to build an environment where people can be ambitious, try unconventional ideas, enjoy the process and have fun along the way.

If you want to help build a brand that changes how performance is understood, we’d love to hear from you.
