JOB DESCRIPTION

WellyBox is a fast-growing AI-powered financial operations platform, trusted by over 100,000 businesses worldwide and growing 400% year over year.

We’re building the financial back office for small businesses - automating the repetitive bookkeeping and administrative work that traditionally takes hours of manual effort. WellyBox uses AI to collect and understand financial documents, organize business expenses, prepare data for accounting, and streamline the workflows between businesses and their accountants.

Our mission is to make financial administration radically simpler, more automated, and more intelligent for millions of small businesses globally.

About the role

WellyBox is looking for a highly experienced Head of Product Growth to own one of the most important parts of our business: the entire user journey from the first click to the first payment.

We acquire users at scale, primarily through paid acquisition. Your job is to make sure we turn as much of that traffic as possible into revenue.

You will own everything that happens after the click - landing pages, quizzes, onboarding, activation, product experience, pricing, paywalls and checkout - with a clear focus on improving conversion, monetization and revenue.

This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role . You will own the function end-to-end, work directly with the leadership team, and collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, R&D, Design and Data.

We're looking for someone who has done this before, at scale.

What you'll own

  • The full click-to-payment funnel , from paid traffic landing on our website through first payment.
  • Conversion across landing pages, quizzes, signup, onboarding, activation, pricing, paywalls and checkout.
  • Core growth and monetization metrics including conversion rate, first-session payment rate, ARPU, and more.
  • The experimentation roadmap - identifying opportunities, prioritizing them and driving experiments from idea to measurable business impact.
  • Understanding where and why users drop, what makes them convert, and how different user segments behave throughout the funnel.
  • The connection between acquisition intent and the product experience - making sure the promise that brought a user in continues seamlessly through the funnel.

What you'll do

  • Deeply analyze funnels, cohorts and user behavior to identify friction and growth opportunities.
  • Turn data and user insights into hypotheses, new flows and product experiences.
  • Continuously launch and analyze A/B tests across the funnel.
  • Experiment with onboarding flows, quizzes, messaging, offers, pricing, packaging, paywalls and other monetization mechanics.
  • Develop new ideas - including bold ones - and test them quickly.
  • Work closely with designers and developers to take ideas from hypothesis to production.
  • Get hands-on with analytics rather than relying on someone else to tell you what is happening.
  • Combine quantitative data with qualitative understanding of users to improve the experience.
  • Look beyond incremental optimization and identify opportunities that can materially change the economics of the funnel.
  • Double down when something works, kill it when it doesn't, and continuously build on what we learn.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Product Growth, Product Marketing, CRO or similar roles.
  • Significant experience owning high-volume web funnels , preferably in a performance-marketing-driven business.
  • A proven track record of materially improving conversion and revenue metrics .
  • Strong experience with B2C, self-serve SaaS, subscriptions or web-to-web/app funnels .
  • Deep understanding of activation, conversion, monetization, pricing and unit economics.
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing, running and analyzing A/B tests.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to independently work with product and funnel data.
  • Strong product and UX intuition - you should be able to look at a journey, understand what isn't working and propose a better experience.
  • Highly creative and naturally curious, with a constant desire to test new ideas.
  • Comfortable operating with significant autonomy and accountability for business results.
  • Strong bias toward execution - this isn't a role focused on writing roadmaps or managing processes.

Big advantage

  • Experience in a company acquiring users at significant scale through paid acquisition channels .
  • Experience owning the journey specifically from ad click to purchase .
  • Experience with pricing, packaging, paywalls and subscription monetization.
  • Experience building or leading a Growth Product function from an early stage.

Why this role matters

We already know how to generate significant demand.

The opportunity is to build a world-class experience between that first click and the moment a user becomes a paying customer.

Small improvements here can have an enormous impact on the business - and you'll have the ownership, traffic, data and freedom to find them.

Why WellyBox

  • Work on a product operating at hypergrowth scale , with significant traffic, data, and room for measurable impact.
  • High ownership and direct access to the leadership team.
  • A fast-moving environment where good ideas can go from hypothesis to production quickly.
  • 1 day a week working from home.
