About the role
Finmo is building the treasury and payments layer that finance teams actually want to use. Our buyers are business owners, CFOs, treasurers, and finance leaders in mid-market companies across the globe.
This role requires effective demand generation to be guided by strong product marketing principles. You will generate pipeline across paid, owned, outbound and offline channels, and you will own the product marketing that gives those campaigns something worth saying – positioning, narrative, launches, and the translation of genuinely complex payments and treasury capability into language a finance leader recognises as their own problem.
It is an individual contributor, hands-on role. You will write the copy, build the campaign in HubSpot, brief the video to design tem, sit in on sales calls, and chase the follow-up. You will conceptualize and execute. Performance, ownership and accountability would be second nature to you.
What success looks like
This role is based on outcomes, not output volume. Campaign count, content published and emails sent are diagnostics, not goals. Targets will be set based on business goals.
-
Segmentation & qualified pipeline. Drive pipeline and create demand from marketing efforts, through mapping of segments, geos, and ICPs for clear and context driven campaign targeting. Not raw lead count.
-
Conversion, not volume. Measurable improvement in conversion at each stage — visitor to lead, lead to qualified, qualified to demo held, demo to opportunity. A campaign that halves the cost of a qualified opportunity beats one that triples raw leads.
-
Competitive displacement. Interest, preference and win rate against named competitors by articulating our differentiated value, and positioning our solutions strategically to fill the gaps
-
Launch outcomes. For each new product or feature, adoption within the target cohort inside a defined window, create clear KSPs, competitive landscape sell-against and attach rate on cross-sell and upsell motions. Launch needs to be timely, shipping as planned.
-
Sales alignment. Leads management and follow-up to fully understand if aging and progression is healthy, what needs to improve and take ownership to improve. This include enabling sales and BD with clear campaign briefing, targets and KSPs, creating enablement material for sales to progress through sales cycle.
What you'll own
-
Own multi-channel integrated growth marketing building accountable pipeline generation and conversion end to end across online and offline, direct and indirect channels. Creating leads with high leads quality is key.
-
Design campaigns that strongly resonate with segments and geo mapping, ICPs and product strengths.
- Build and own the campaign calendar, connecting product launches, market moments, event cycles and sales priorities into one plan the whole team can see.
-
Run ABM programs that accomplishes different account objectives from perception shifting and engagement to stakeholder expansion and deal velocity.
-
Create a tight cadence for leads management with BD, providing insights to aging, progression gaps and blockers and enablement to increase leads follow up success
-
Work within Hubspot to ensure all leads and campaign funnels are clearly tracked and reported on source attribution and conversion health
-
Hands-on in copy creation and storytelling across campaigns, from videos, case studies, thought leadership presentations and product writeups to social media posts, event abstracts and landing pages – with full accountability to fact check, create cut through KSPs, and original narrative that drive performance.
- Translate complex product capability into persona-fit language. Our product involves multi-entity structures, FX, settlement mechanics and regulatory nuance; your job is to make a finance leader see their own problem in it within thirty seconds.
-
Own go-to-market for new products and features: positioning, launch narrative, segmentation, asset set, internal enablement, launch campaign and post-launch adoption tracking.
-
Own cross-sell and upsell marketing to the existing base: identify the motions worth running, then build the campaigns, nurture flows, in-product messaging and sales plays behind them.
-
Produce product content that actually explains the product: demo and explainer videos, comparison material, technical one-pagers and objection-handling guides. You will brief and direct design and video support rather than shoot it yourself, but the script, structure and argument are yours.
-
Own competitive intelligence and battlecards creation
Must-have experience
-
5–8 years in B2B marketing with real APAC or global demand generation ownership. You have carried a pipeline or qualified-opportunity number, not just run programmes.
-
Genuine hands-on and on the ground product marketing experience: positioning, messaging, launches, enablement and competitive work for a technical SaaS product.
- Excellent writing and content creation. You have demonstrable experience in weighty content including original narratives, video storyboarding, executive presentation, interview script, case study and whitepaper to short form content including social media posts, EDMs and shots. We will ask for samples you wrote independently.
-
Demonstrated experience marketing a complex, considered product to finance, operations or technical buyers for SMEs and enterprises in payments, fintech, treasury.
-
Hands-on HubSpot skills across campaigns, landing pages, workflows, lifecycle stages and reporting. You can build it, not just brief it.
-
Strong teamwork and collaboration. A track record of working closely with sales, and of working across product, engineering and executive stakeholders to get something shipped.
-
Strong attention to detail. Not just grammar and vocab, but broken links, wrong merge fields and untracked UTMs all make a difference.
-
Ability to multi-task and deliver with timeliness.
- Comfort with ambiguity and enough judgement to form your own view. We want someone who will argue a position with evidence, change their mind when the evidence changes, and take an edit without taking it personally.
This role is probably not for you if
-
You want to set strategy and hand the writing and building to someone else.
-
You would rather be measured on number of campaigns delivered and content published than on pipeline, conversion, and impact.
-
You want to specialise purely in demand generation or purely in product marketing. This role is genuinely both, and the split shifts week to week.
-
You need settled processes and clear precedent to work from. Much of this is still being built.
