Role Description The Sales Officer role at BharatPe is a full-time, on-site position based in Vikasnagar. The Sales Officer is responsible for identifying and acquiring new merchant partners, explaining BharatPe’s payment and credit solutions, and onboarding them onto the platform. This role involves managing merchant relationships, providing ongoing customer support, and ensuring high usage of BharatPe products such as QR payments and BharatSwipe terminals. The Sales Officer will conduct field visits, generate leads through local market research, and collaborate with channel partners to drive sales targets. The role also includes maintaining accurate sales records, reporting performance metrics, and sharing feedback from merchants to help improve products and services.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage with merchants, address queries, and build long-term relationships.
  • Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Channel Sales skills to identify prospects, develop local networks, and grow the merchant base.
  • Candidates should possess Sales Operations skills to manage pipelines, track conversions, and meet or exceed assigned targets.
  • Relevant experience in field sales, fintech, banking, or financial services will be beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Basic proficiency in using mobile apps and digital tools for reporting and merchant onboarding; familiarity with UPI and digital payments is an advantage.
  • Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
