About the Role

We are looking for a Senior D2C Growth & Revenue lead to own Monrow's D2C business end-to-end.

This is a P&L ownership role with performance marketing at its core .

You will be responsible for building and scaling a profitable D2C growth engine across the entire customer journey:

Acquisition → Conversion → Retention → Repeat → LTV → Revenue → Profitability


The ideal candidate is someone who has personally scaled meaningful D2C businesses, managed significant performance marketing budgets, understands the mechanics of customer acquisition deeply, and can connect marketing performance to revenue, contribution and P&L.

This is not a role for a pure performance marketer, CRM specialist or e-commerce manager.

We are looking for a business owner who happens to be exceptionally strong at growth.


What You'll Own:


D2C P&L & Business Growth

  • Own the D2C revenue plan, P&L and profitability .
  • Build the annual and quarterly D2C growth strategy.
  • Own revenue targets across acquisition, conversion and retention.
  • Define business KPIs, budgets and growth levers.
  • Optimise CAC, LTV, AOV, CVR, contribution margin, payback and profitability .
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting, budgeting and business planning.
  • Make growth decisions based on incremental revenue and contribution , not vanity metrics.
  • Build a predictable D2C business capable of supporting Monrow's next phase of scale.


Performance Markerting & Customer Acquisition

  • Own the acquisition strategy across Meta, Google and other relevant channels.
  • Manage and optimise significant performance marketing budgets.
  • Experience managing ₹2 Cr+ annual Meta + Google budgets is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver 3X+ net ROAS at meaningful scale.
  • Own CAC, ROAS, payback and customer quality
  • Performance marketing will be a core growth engine of this role. .
  • Build a structured experimentation engine across creatives, audiences, offers, landing pages, channels, campaign architecture
  • Identify opportunities beyond paid media through creators, affiliates, partnerships, referrals and organic acquisition.
  • Ensure acquisition growth is aligned with product availability, inventory and profitability.


Conversion & Revenue Optimisation

  • Own the D2C website as a major revenue engine.
  • Improve CVR, AOV and revenue per visitor .
  • Identify friction across discovery, navigation, PDP, merchandising, cart and checkout.
  • Drive CRO and experimentation.
  • Work closely with Product, Technology, Design and Creative teams.
  • Translate customer behaviour and analytics into measurable conversion improvements.
  • Ensure acquisition investments translate into efficient revenue.


Retention & Customer Lifetime Value

  • Own the retention and customer lifecycle strategy.
  • Drive repeat purchase, retention, reactivation and LTV .
  • Build segmentation and cohort-based customer strategies.
  • Develop lifecycle journeys across WhatsApp, email, SMS and other channels.
  • Drive second purchase, cross-sell, upsell and win-back.
  • Build retention programs that improve customer value without relying excessively on discounts .
  • Connect acquisition quality with downstream retention and LTV.


Data, Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Build a robust D2C dashboard and operating rhythm.
  • Establish clear visibility on revenue, CAC, ROAS, CVR, AOV, Repeat rate, LTV, Contribution, and payback.
  • Build cohort-level understanding of customer acquisition and retention.
  • Use data to identify growth opportunities and course-correct quickly.
  • Create a culture where every major growth decision has a clear commercial hypothesis behind it.


Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Build and lead the D2C growth organisation across performance, CRM, CRO and analytics.
  • Set clear ownership, targets and operating rhythms.
  • Work closely with Brand & Marketing to balance brand building with commercial growth.
  • Partner with Product, Merchandising, Inventory, Finance, Technology and Operations.
  • Build systems and processes that reduce founder dependency.


What We're Looking For


Must Have,

  • 3-4 years of experience in D2C / consumer / e-commerce / fashion / beauty / lifestyle.
  • Proven experience scaling a D2C business .
  • Strong ownership or significant influence over D2C P&L and profitability .
  • Experience managing ₹2 Cr+ annual Meta + Google budgets .
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver approximately 3X+ net ROAS at scale .
  • Strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, CVR, AOV, LTV, retention, contribution and payback .
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing and its impact on the overall business P&L .
  • Experience across acquisition + conversion + retention , not just one function.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, lifecycle marketing and customer cohorts.
  • Ability to use growth data to influence product, pricing and merchandising decisions.
  • Experience building teams and operating systems in a high-growth environment.

Do Not Apply If,

  • Your experience is purely performance marketing with no meaningful business/P&L ownership.
  • You have worked only in acquisition .
  • You have worked only in retention/CRM .
  • Your experience is limited to managing campaigns without owning business outcomes.
  • You have not managed meaningful performance marketing budgets.
  • Your role has been purely executional with limited exposure to revenue, profitability and commercial decision-making .

  • Deeply understand Monrow's business, consumer, products, D2C funnel, P&L and unit economics.
  • Audit acquisition, conversion, retention, product and customer cohorts.
  • Evaluate all existing growth channels, budgets and performance.

  • Establish D2C dashboards, KPIs and business review rhythms.
  • Build the 12-month D2C growth roadmap .
  • Identify the biggest constraint/opportunity in the current growth engine.


Within 6 Months

  • Take complete ownership of the D2C P&L and growth engine.
  • Establish scalable acquisition, conversion and retention systems.
  • Improve CAC, CVR, AOV, repeat rate, LTV and contribution .
  • Build a stronger experimentation and performance marketing framework.
  • Improve alignment between marketing, product, inventory and merchandising.
  • Build and strengthen the D2C growth team.
  • Deliver measurable improvement in both revenue and profitability .


Within 1 Year

  • Build a predictable, scalable and profitable D2C growth engine .
  • Deliver significant D2C revenue growth while improving contribution.
  • Establish a strong customer acquisition and retention moat.
  • Build systems that enable Monrow to scale with significantly lower founder dependency.
  • Create a data-led D2C organisation with clear accountability for revenue and P&L .
  • Build the commercial and growth infrastructure required for Monrow's next stage of scale.
